Good replacement for a diagonal strap
I was looking for a replacement for a diagonal strap on my Powerslide EVO slalom skates, the binding buckle anchor point had tore away from the boot so I couldn't attach a buckle anymore. I used a diagonal velcro strap borrowed from an aggressive boot and attach via the screw holding the cuff in place. My feet didn't feel very secure with this strap.
This MyFit Ankle Strap worked very well. The boa style disc with it's metal wire loop allows you to turn it clockwise, with click sounds, to tighten even more firmly than the original skate strap could. Also without fear of it breaking too.
To loosen the wire you turn the disc anti-clockwise firmly, which is a variant on the traditional Boa system in pulling the disc out for release.
One star off this strap is I think the wire could be little longer so as to allow easy entry of the foot and removal of the boot. At the moment I have to shift the disc lock cover to one side to give me enough room to pull the tongue of the boot out wide enough to remove my foot.
